· Featured Article – Living Organically…A life full of energy, health, joy, passion and integrated within the world you’re living in. That’s what I call organic living! I am choosing the word organically to not only refer to organic food products, but also to the lifestyle I strongly believe in. The word “organic (adj.)” is referenced in Merriam-Webster as: forming an integral element of a whole. Do you find yourself searching for the same? After much research, trial and error and tracking successes, I finally realized that I was just focusing on certain components of my life instead of my lifestyle as a whole. So, I decided to develop a plan for myself. I wanted an organic lifestyle. I wanted all areas to be toxic-free and to inter-relate. The same principles I applied to my nutrition, such as whole and unprocessed foods, I decided to apply to my thinking and being, career and relationships. I recommend to people, who are looking for a healthy lifestyle makeover, to focus on more than just their physical health. You need to change your inner and outer world. I am now challenging you to evaluate what is causing your discontentment with your physical appearance, physical well-being, self-esteem and relationships with a Higher Power, yourself and others. I know that you’re telling yourself right now that this sounds like a lot of work and where do you start? The one thing I can assure you is that change is constant. So, you can either choose to make positive changes or you can follow a status quo of discomfort. In the new few months, we will focus on the different areas influencing your lifestyle. These areas include: · Nutrition · Exercise · Relationships - Yourself (Self Care) - Others - Higher Power - Career My goal is to provide you with a step-by-step guide to help you radically change your lifestyle. In addition, you’ll find many tools to help you get started. Each month focuses on a different subject matter aiming to provide you with concepts to establish a new and organic lifestyle foundation. I’ll be sharing with you what has worked for me. And now the choice is yours. You can decide to go after the life that you’re entitled to – abundant in health, joy and energy; and take responsibility for your own life and happiness. Or you can go back to your old stinkin’ thinkin’ and continue to feel miserable. The plan I developed encompasses a whole lifestyle and life change for you. You have to tell yourself that you deserve the lifestyle you dreamed of. The MMC Lifestyle Plan will require organization and planning, but most importantly commitment to changing your current frame of mind. I know this is what you want, right?! As with anything in life, it will be your choice to decide what you want and do not want. All I ask is that you read with an open mind in the new few months. Your success with be solely dependent upon your willingness and commitment to your change and the organization thereof. I also recommend that you work with a partner, such as a coach or mentor, to help you implement your new lifestyle. The easiest way for you to get started is to go step by step and implement changes in your life as outlined. I recommend that you focus on one area at a time. Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to change everything at once. It takes thirty days for a new habit to stick. So, reap the benefits of the new habits from one area to provide you with the energy to attack the next area. Until Next Month! Marion
